The association bears the name Hengelsportvereniging Raalte and was founded on September 12, 1957. It can look forward to enormous interest and a large influx of new, especially young members.

For example, the number of members at the end of December 2022 was 1400.

The goal:

• Promoting fishing as a sporting recreation.

• Protecting and improving fish stocks.

• In general, looking after the interests of anglers, in particular those of the members affiliated with the association.

• Dealing responsibly with nature and the environment.

• The respect for fellow human beings, animal friendliness as well as sparing the property of third parties.

• Openness.

The association applies the lowest possible entry threshold for interested parties.

Activities:

The activities of the association can be described as follows:

• Organizing competitions in and out of competition for all levels.

• Maintaining the friendship with the sister association from Mettingen by means of. taking turns holding a fishing competition.

• Organizing a youth course.

• Composition of administrative body.

 

Expectations:

Given the growth in the number of members of the Hengelsportvereniging Raalte now and in the future, as a result of the abundant supply of fishing water in new-build projects in Raalte-Noord, it is expected that more and more efforts will be required from the administrative body.
